Privacy policy

What we collect, why, and who sees it.

The short version. We collect what we need to unlock your phone and nothing else. We do not sell your information. We share your IMEI with the network that performs the unlock, because there is no other way to do it.

What we collect

Your IMEI or serial number — required to process a check or unlock
Your email address — to send results and order updates
Your name and company — if you choose to give them
Your orders and balance — so you and we can see your history
Your IP address — to prevent abuse of the free check

We do not store card numbers. Payments are handled by our payment provider, who never gives us your full card details.

Who we share it with

Your IMEI and the service requested are sent to the unlocking network or supplier that carries out the work. That is the whole point of the service, and it cannot be done without it.

We also use a payment provider to take payments and a hosting company to run the site. We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not share it for advertising.

We may disclose information if the law requires it, or where we reasonably believe a device has been reported lost or stolen.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept while your account is open and for a reasonable period afterwards, because we may need them to answer questions about past orders or to meet tax and accounting obligations. Free IMEI check results are kept for a short period so the same phone is not paid for twice.

Cookies

We use one cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete your account. Email support@unlockair.com and we will respond within 30 days. Some records must be kept for accounting reasons even after an account is closed.

Children

This service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Security

The site runs over an encrypted connection and passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a password you do not use anywhere else.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date below.
